About

Gordon Fry, designer-maker

Gordon Fry's career as a designer-maker spans more than 19 years. Having obtained a foundation diploma in Art & Design he then went on to train as a furniture restorer/cabinet-maker with Bruce Luckhurst in 1994/1995. 

 

After more than a decade based in Normandy, his workshops are now back in Sussex. Clients include designers, architects and private individuals both in Europe and the UK.

Awards

In 2012 Gordon FRY was awarded the title 'Maitre Artisan' (master craftsman) by the Chambre de Metiers (Chamber of Trades). This prestigious award recognises Gordon's expertise and experience as a designer-maker of furniture and architectural joinery.
